CITLALI…FOREVER! Citlali is a family-owned company based in Zapopan, Jalisco and founded in 1968 by a group of jewelers committed to the preservation of traditional Mexican arts and crafts. Citlali is a word that comes from Nahuatl “star”, which is where it gets its essence from. Some of the original designs are based in pre-Hispanic cultures that are transformed into contemporary jewelry made of silver. This piece belongs to the collection “El Árbol de la Vida”, which represents where the three levels of the cosmos, the underground, earth and heaven unite, as well as the earth’s four elements: earth, wind, water and fire.
