In 1999, Lucía Emma Cazales starts a family business in the State of Morelos to support the less fortunate peasants. She dedicated to the growing of agave, with the idea in mind of creating a 100% handmade product. Under the same principle, due to her love for the Mexican handicrafts, which have a huge richness in several areas, and focusing in the textile industry, she decided to support different groups of artisans from different regions of the Mexican Republic to give their products some recognition. This yellow blouse belongs to the collection made by artisans from the Amuzga Mountain of Guerrero. Hand-embroidered with multi colored motifs. Made in loom and of 100% cotton. The Amuzgos towns are located in Costa Chica of Guerrero, they are famous for their women, who embroider cotton with a back strap loom. The Tlacoachistlahuaca and Xochistlahuac towns, stand out among the towns with embroidery traditions. Part of their economy is based on their textile production, their embroidery contain a symbolism transmitted from generation to generation.
